Meet J Norness
J is the founder of ENDEVO and the person in the room at every session. The practice is deliberately small. The person who designs a course is the person who teaches it, and he takes on only the work he can do well.
Originally from the US, J has called Nelson home for more than 20 years. His working life covers unusual ground. Eight years as an electrician and automation engineer in the Bering Sea. International seafood distribution. Giftware design and manufacturing. Then more than a decade leading marketing and technology at scale. He has run operations, sold product and managed teams, which is why his training holds up in front of owners who have done the same.
Today he pairs training with fractional AI and marketing leadership roles inside businesses in New Zealand and Australia. The courses draw directly on that live work. What he teaches was in use inside a real business the week before.
He also delivers AI education through the Nelson AI Sandbox and the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce.
Away from work, he is usually on a mountain bike.

Every course runs with only your business in the room, built around your systems, your documents and your real work.
Capability, not dependency
You and your managers learn to do the work yourselves. Success is not needing ENDEVO for the same task next month.
Plain language
No jargon, no hype and no technical background needed. If a concept cannot be explained simply, it is not ready to be taught.
Judgement over button-pushing
Tools change every month. The training focuses on what lasts: knowing what AI is for, what it should never touch, and how to tell good output from bad.
Technology should serve people, not replace them.
When you want it built, not taught
Some projects call for delivery rather than training. For that work, J scopes the project and brings in specialist contractors he has worked with before, matched to what the job needs. J leads every project himself and stays your single point of contact from start to finish.
Implementation work is scoped and quoted separately from training. If you are not sure which you need, that is what the first conversation is for.
