Applied AI Training for Business Owners and Managers
Hands-on AI training for the owner and senior managers of one business, no AI experience needed. Two sessions in ChatGPT and Claude, built from a short pre-course intake and run on your own work at your premises. You leave with a tested, scored shortlist of AI uses, rules for safe, private use that hold up under the Privacy Act 2020, and the judgement to run both.
We’ve trained over 1,000 people how to use AI.
Through in-person, practical, hands-on workshops, not keynote events
Workshop at a glance
Two sessions of 3.5 hours, typically a week apart
For the owner and up to 12 senior managers of one business
$3,490 + GST per business
30-minute pre-course intake and a 30-minute video check-in two weeks after, both included
Delivered in person across Nelson Tasman, Marlborough, Wellington and Canterbury
No AI experience needed
How it is delivered
Only your business in the room.
At your premises, or a venue you choose
Both sessions run for your people, and nobody else's. Before session one, you complete a short pre-course intake covering your business, your tools and your priorities, and the exercises are built from your answers. The examples on screen are your quotes, your emails, your reports.
Up to 12 owners and senior managers of one business. Everyone needs a paid, business-grade AI account. We work out whether that is ChatGPT, Claude or both with you at the pre-course intake, so accounts are ready before session one.
Who it is for
Owners and managers, not technicians.
Built for the people who decide how a business runs: owners, directors, general managers and their senior managers. Most arrive curious and cautious, often already using AI a little and unsure whether they are doing it safely. You do not need a technical background. You need your laptop and a working week's worth of real tasks.
What you leave with
More than familiarity.
A tested shortlist
AI uses from your own business, tried live in the room and scored, so you know which to do first.
Rules you wrote
Your own written rules for what goes into AI tools and what never does, sound under the Privacy Act 2020.
First drafts, done properly
First drafts of your own quotes, emails and reports, made with AI and checked properly before use.
A prompting method
One repeatable way of asking, plus a set of everyday prompts you will actually reuse.
A standing workspace
A project space you set up that already knows your business, so you stop re-explaining yourself every time.
Judgement
A clear sense of where AI saves real time in a business like yours, where it does not, and what today's tools cannot yet be trusted with.
How it runs
Two sessions (Flexible schedule).
00
Pre-course
Every delivery starts with a short pre-course intake so both sessions run on your real work from the first hour. This consists of a questionnaire and a virtual 30-minute meeting.
01
Foundations and judgement
What generative AI is, what it is not, and why context is the one idea that matters
A simple framework for asking well, applied to your own work on your own laptop
The five risks worth worrying about, and the ones that are dinner-party talk
A simple test before you paste anything in: what customer information never touches the tools
First hands-on runs in ChatGPT and Claude on your own quotes, emails and reports from your week
02
Application and your plan
A working tour of ChatGPT and Claude: models, projects, custom assistants and skills
Set up a workspace that already knows your business, and package one repeatable job so it runs the same way every time
Agents in plain terms: what they are, what they cost, when they are worth it
AI by department, mapped to your business: sales, marketing, operations, finance, people
Score your shortlist by impact, confidence and effort, and write your own AI rules before you leave

I'm a developer who has dabbled with some AI here and there. The AI workshop that was held was an introductory workshop designed for users totally new to AI. What impressed me about the workshop (other than J's personable and entertaining style) was how it was able to introduce our newer users to AI effectively and still give me some insights and learnings to take away and apply. Would highly recommend.

Life-changing stuff. Quoting that took two hours takes twenty minutes. Thank you

J from Endevo ran a foundational AI workshop for our team. As a software company, we assumed we were already ahead of the curve — but outside expertise gave us a much clearer view of how these tools can support a range of roles. We now share a common language and understanding to build on. J's approach engaged everyone, from expert users to complete beginners, and we're confident every team member will have a practical use case within the week. Productivity gains from AI are about to take off.

We brought J in to train our team on AI. The difference from a typical course was that everything was built on our actual work. No generic demos: the team learned on our real processes and documents. Sceptical team members started using it the next morning and were using it confidently a few days later. Just as importantly, they understand the boundaries regarding client information. J' training is practical and security focused which is required for our industry and made us feel even more comfortable. If you want your team actually using AI rather than just talking at about it, get J in.

J trained our team six months ago, and the training has held with the team picking up so many use cases and gaining efficiencies. Many were not confident enough to even start using AI, but after the training, everything changed. J has a way of making people feel safe in the workshops. His personable and entertaining style of presenting put our team at ease.
